An infinite amount of wealth based on the unbridled growth of techno-capitalism is predicated upon advances towards AGI and the underlying spread of machine intelligence in all kinds of novel physical substrates. This prediction is also based on an ever-increasing ability to harness the energy of physics to cosmic scales. In its extreme expression, this could result in an all omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent AI-Machine, which if harnessed properly could be extremely beneficial, or like any other advanced technology could be extremely destructive if financial and human capital were misallocated.

We are biased toward the optimistic outcome, which would require humans to occupy the driver’s seat in this intelligence revolution, creatively controlling the development and utilization of technology and capital for the benefit of humanity. To ensure that humans become so capable it is essential that we are empowered to navigate & immerse in a learning journey that inspires & coaches us to this end.

Such an audacious learning outcome needs a novel education model, where an AI can guide us through a learning web that intuitively adapts to the student’s aspirations and to the ever evolving needs of society. This intelligent learning platform, or what we call our Guru-in-the-Cloud, would be a near-sentient tool for personalized learning. Nurturing the gifted amongst us while providing equitable education to all, students would be able to effectively accelerate their progress to escape velocities, breaking away from societal constraints, without burnouts, each into their own natural orbits.

The GITC and the learning web would accelerate our species to a Kardashev type-1 and thence to a type-2 civilization, leading to an infinite increase in human-centered intellectual capital, a societal wealth beyond mere monetary techno-capital.
